Poland fulfills conditions to unlock EU funds, poised to receive billions

Poland signs contract with U.S. for air-defense command system

Poland’s Defense Minister, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, signed a contract with the U.S. on Thursday for an integrated anti-aircraft and anti-missile command system for the second phase of the mid-range Wisła air defense program and short-range Narew anti-aircraft program. The Polish Ministry of Defense (MoD) also announced that it is conducting an audit of all arms agreements the country has concluded since 2016.
