Brazil: Fires in Roraima state increase by 465% year on year
Fires in Roraima, a state in northern Brazil, have broken records after increasing by 465% over last year’s measurements in the period from January 1 to February 26, according to data from the National Institute for Space Research (INPE) based on its reference satellite imagery.
