Renault Group has unveiled its first European plant dedicated to refurbishing used vehicles.
The new facility in the town of Sękocin southwest of the Polish capital Warsaw, is set to breathe new life into old cars with a range of refurbishing services aimed at extending the lifespan of cars and supporting the company’s environmentally conscious strategy.
Operated by Renault Polska in partnership with authorized partner KrubaGroup, the service will allow customers to have their used cars refurbished directly at the dealer.
Once restored, these cars will be re-sold with a special warranty, ensuring quality and reliability for new owners.
“Each vehicle refurbished by the renew Factory is ‘Refactory certified,’ which means that the entire process took place in accordance with the standards and requirements set by the Group,” the Polish branch of the Renault Group wrote in a statement.
The initiative is part of Renault Group's broader European strategy to promote a closed-loop economy, which aims to minimize waste, reduce resource consumption, and meet ambitious environmental goals.
The new plant focuses on eco-friendly practices, using sustainable products throughout the refurbishing process.
The services at the renew factory include upholstery restoration and windshield repair to bumper and fender fixes, body panel reconstructions, aluminum wheel reconditioning, and spot painting.
