Polish national football team coach Michał Probierz said after a 1:2 defeat to the Netherlands in a Euro 2024 match that his team will not let this loss shatter their morale.

He addressed journalists during a brief press conference following the game.

“We lacked cunning in the final stage of the game,” Probierz said, adding that “however, we certainly are not done here.”

“I told the players in the locker room after the match to keep their heads up. This match, despite the defeat, is a good omen… we are going in the right direction… we were a well put together team,” the coach added.

“We will certainly not give up and do all we can to win these next two matches.”

The White-and-reds will play their next match on June 21 in Berlin, where they will face Austria.

“Robert Lewandowski [currently recovering from an injury - TVP World] is likely to play in that match,” the coach said.
