To discuss the campaign trail, we were joined by a notable newcomer whose entry into politics has sparked widespread interest and discussion, capturing the attention of both Hungarian and global public opinion.
Péter Magyar, born in 1981, is a Hungarian politician and lawyer, former Fidesz ruling party member, who announced his intention to found a party himself, offering an alternative between the parliamentary opposition and Fidesz. Instead, he has recently joined TISZA – Respect and Freedom Party - which, since his arrival, has become the biggest opposition party in Hungary.
