As Hungary gears up for upcoming elections, both for the European Parliament and local offices scheduled for June 9th, the electoral atmosphere is charged with activity. To discuss the campaign trail, we were joined by a notable newcomer whose entry into politics has sparked widespread interest and discussion, capturing the attention of both Hungarian and global public opinion.

Péter Magyar, born in 1981, is a Hungarian politician and lawyer, former Fidesz ruling party member, who announced his intention to found a party himself, offering an alternative between the parliamentary opposition and Fidesz. Instead, he has recently joined TISZA – Respect and Freedom Party - which, since his arrival, has become the biggest opposition party in Hungary.
