Szymon Hołownia, the speaker of the lower house of Poland’s parliament (Sejm), expressed hope of President Andrzej Duda being persuaded to reform the Constitutional Tribunal, which would include proposed changes to the Polish Constitution. If the President vetoes, the government will then attempt to pass changes for the Constitutional Tribunal after the next presidential elections.

A special international tribunal should be created to deal with the crimes of Russian aggression against Ukraine, Poland’s Justice Minister Adam Bodnar said in Kyiv on Thursday. Such a court is an important element from the point of view of international responsibility, he assessed.
