EU rejects Hungary and Slovakia’s requests for talks with Ukraine on oil sanctions

The European Commission has declined requests from Hungary and Slovakia to mediate consultations with Ukraine over sanctions that Kyiv imposed on Russian oil producer Lukoil, a Commission spokesperson announced on Friday.
