Ukraine says incursion into Russia necessary to push Moscow toward ‘fair’ peace talks

Ukraine’s cross-border incursion into Russian territory was required to persuade the Kremlin to begin a “fair negotiation process,” the Ukrainian presidential adviser said on Friday.
