Georgia’s interior ministry announced on Saturday that 91 foreign nationals have been expelled from the country, including 25 who faced penalties for taking part in anti-government protests.

He said a proposed suspension of asylum rights would be reconciled with protection of dissidents.

Poland will temporarily suspend the right to asylum as part of its migratory policy to tackle illegal migration, particularly at the border with Belarus, Prime Minister Donald Tusk has said.

The Ukrainska Pravda website reported on Monday that on April 4, Kyiv had written to the Council of Europe’s (CoE) secretariat in Strasbourg to inform the organization that it had imposed limitations on some provisions of the European Convention on Human Rights, including freedom of speech.
