#EU SANCTIONS LIST

Following media reports that the Hungarian football club Ferencvaros could soon be sponsored by Gazprom, the Russian state-owned company and the world’s largest natural gas producer, Hungary’s foreign ministry pointed out that the energy giant was not on the EU sanctions list.

The funds and economic resources of both men were frozen after the European Council imposed restrictions following the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
