Telegram founder Pavel Durov allowed to leave France amid ongoing probe

French authorities have allowed Pavel Durov, the Russian-born founder and CEO of Telegram, to leave France temporarily in a loosening of his obligations under a probe into criminal activities on the messaging app, the French news agency AFP reported on Saturday.

Tennis: Świątek cruises past Zheng into Dubai semifinals

Top-seeded Polish superstar Iga Świątek defeated China’s Zheng Qinwen (seeded 6th) 6-3, 6-2 to advance to the semifinals of the WTA 1000 tournament in Dubai. It was the sixth match between the two tennis players, and the sixth victory for the world’s number one.

Tennis: Świątek advances to quarterfinals of Dubai WTA Tennis Championships

Iga Świątek has advanced to the quarterfinals of the WTA 1000 tournament taking place on hard courts in Dubai. The Polish tennis player defeated Ukrainian Elina Svitolina 6-1, 6-4 on Wednesday. The match lasted for an hour and 25 minutes.
