“The cooperation between Great Britain and Poland may be and will be for sure an example for our partners,” the Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said during a joint press conference with his British counterpart Rishi Sunak on Tuesday. The two leaders affirmed their commitment to deepen the cooperation between the two nations on issues such as defense and security.

Poland signs contract with U.S. for air-defense command system

Poland’s Defense Minister, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, signed a contract with the U.S. on Thursday for an integrated anti-aircraft and anti-missile command system for the second phase of the mid-range Wisła air defense program and short-range Narew anti-aircraft program. The Polish Ministry of Defense (MoD) also announced that it is conducting an audit of all arms agreements the country has concluded since 2016.
