“We have the same ambitions to put European matters in the right direction,” French Ambassador to Poland Étienne de Poncins said in an interview with TVP World about the change in foreign policy of the new Polish government and Poland’s Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski’s speech to the parliament on the direction Poland’s external affairs.
De Poncins Poncins, a graduate of Sciences Po Paris and the National School of Administration (ENA), pursued a distinguished diplomatic career. He held various diplomatic positions in Bulgaria, Kenya, and Somalia, and contributed to European initiatives such as the drafting of the European Constitution. Currently, he serves as the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of France to Poland.
