TVP World’s correspondent Klaudia Czerwińska talked with Parliamentary advisor and political expert George Byczynski on the present visit by British PM Rishi Sunak and NATO’s Secretary General, Stoltenberg, in Warsaw.
“This is a very important meeting not just for Ukraine but also for Europe and for the unity of Europe,” said George Byczynski.
“Poland is increasingly seen as one of the key leaders when it comes to supporting Ukraine,” he added.
“This announcement of the single largest British package for Ukrainian aid is announced now in Warsaw. It shows that the meeting (...) will be very important. The main message is to show that there is unity,” emphasized the expert.

Today in Warsaw the British Prime Minister announced an increase in defense spending for Great Britain as well as a new aid package for Ukraine comprised of 60 boats, more than 1,600 strike and air defense missiles, and nearly 4 million rounds of ammunition.
Sunak pledged to increase military support for Ukraine by £500 million to take its total for this financial year to £3 billion. He also said Britain’s financial support would continue at least at its current level for the rest of the decade, or as long as needed.
