Two people were unhurt after the driver hit a supermarket before crashing into the pharmacy A drunk driver crashed her Porsche Macan into a pharmacy in northern Poland on Tuesday evening, with a staff member and another person inside the building, police said. The woman first struck the corner of a supermarket building in Bolszewo, near Poland’s Baltic coast, before continuing into the neighboring pharmacy, according to preliminary police findings. The pharmacy was open at the time, with an employee behind the counter and another person on the upper floor of the building. Nobody was injured. A breathalyzer test indicated that the driver’s blood alcohol level exceeded 2 parts per thousand—more than four times Poland’s 0.5-per-thousand threshold for a criminal drunk-driving offense, police said. She was taken to hospital for medical examinations. Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
