Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk begins a visit to India and Vietnam on Wednesday, seeking new markets and political ties. He is traveling with representatives of about 60 to 80 Polish companies. Tusk will meet Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Thursday and attend business forums there and in Bengaluru, with defense and technology among the priorities. The leaders will discuss the war in Ukraine, the Middle East and Poland’s bid to take part in G20 discussions. Bilateral trade reached $6.36 billion in 2025, according to figures published by India’s embassy in Warsaw. The countries established a strategic partnership during Modi’s 2024 visit to Poland, when the two leaders discussed India’s role in ending the war in Ukraine. Tusk travels to Vietnam on Saturday, ahead of talks with Prime Minister Le Minh Hung in Hanoi on Monday, focused on trade barriers and steps toward a strategic partnership.
