Ukraine relies on US intelligence to spot Russian ballistic missiles. The United States has resumed providing Ukraine with critical intelligence to help defend against Russian missile strikes after a brief pause, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in comments published on Sunday. Ukraine has relied on US intelligence to spot the fast-moving ballistic missiles that Russia has fired in waves at its cities. Speaking to NBC's Meet the Press, Zelenskyy said intelligence-sharing had been interrupted but later "de-blocked". "We are very thankful for this," he said. "Now it works." US President Donald Trump had said earlier this week that Washington was still sharing intelligence, despite Ukrainian officials saying some Russian strikes had occurred without warning. ‘Nonstop communication’ Zelenskyy also said on Sunday that he had spoken with US peace envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner as part of "virtually nonstop communication" between the two countries' teams aimed at the "next steps in diplomacy". "Had a conversation with the American President's envoys, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. Peace comes only through strength and cooperation built on trust," he wrote on X. "In particular, we discussed the results of our teams' meeting in Florida. Our teams maintain virtually nonstop communication. We are also preparing the next steps in diplomacy."
