Pope Leo XIV is continuing his four-day visit to France, with migration, artificial intelligence and the future of Europe among the issues on the agenda. On Saturday, the pontiff is scheduled to visit Maison Bakhita, a Paris center supporting migrants and refugees, before attending a gathering at the Catholic Institute of Paris. He will later celebrate Mass at Place de la Concorde, where hundreds of thousands of worshippers are expected. The pope will then travel to Lourdes, one of the world’s best-known Catholic pilgrimage sites. The pontiff began his visit on Friday, meeting French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace. The trip, the first papal state visit to France since Benedict XVI traveled to the country in 2008, will also see Leo address questions surrounding AI regulation and Europe’s future.
