Bardella, the leader of France’s National Rally and a front-runner in early polls ahead of the 2027 elections, met the nationalist Polish President Karol Nawrocki in Warsaw on Thursday. He spent much of the day with Krzysztof Bosak, one of the leaders of Poland’s far-right Confederation party. The visit underscores growing cooperation between National Rally and Polish nationalist politicians at a time of heightened debate in Europe over security, migration and support for Ukraine. Bardella is also expected to visit the Polish-Belarusian border, a politically symbolic stop for European right-wing parties that have made border control central to their message.
