Speaking about the government’s AI policy, Tusk said Poland should avoid dependence on a narrow group of foreign technology suppliers and instead build the capacity to choose between competing providers, pointing to France, Denmark and Germany as countries pursuing similar strategies. The government has decided to allocate nearly €500 million, mostly from European funds, to AI laboratories in schools, Tusk said. Around 8,000 primary schools and 4,000 high schools are expected to receive equipment under the program.
