Speaking in Kyiv, Domański pointed to the insurance sector, where Polish state-controlled insurer PZU has signed a conditional agreement to acquire 100% of MetLife Ukraine, the country’s leading life insurer. “We want to build, and for this I would like to thank the Ukrainian side, a favorable environment for Polish companies and their investments here in Ukraine,” Domański said. Ukrainian officials said Domański’s talks in Kyiv covered financial support, recovery projects, economic development, Ukraine’s EU integration and preparations for the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026, which Poland will host in Gdańsk on June 25–26.
