Adenot docked with the ISS on February 14 for the space agency’s Epsilon mission, scheduled to last up to nine months. Uznański-Wiśniewski completed Poland’s Ignis space mission in July 2025 after 20 days in orbit, contributing to more than 20 experiments. The flight made him only the second Pole in space, a milestone followed closely in Poland. Speaking to TVP World on Wednesday, Adenot offered a lighter glimpse of life in orbit, describing crew jokes about colorful socks whose meaning differs across the cultures aboard a multinational space station far above the Earth. Spanish ESA astronaut Pablo Álvarez Fernández, also from the 2022 class and selected from more than 22,500 applicants, said the group remains close.
