The 1.5 GW offshore wind farm, jointly developed by PGE Group and Denmark’s Ørsted, will be built in the Baltic Sea about 40 km off Poland’s northern coast and is expected to generate enough electricity to power around 2.4–2.5 million Polish households. The project will include 107 turbines, with first power planned for 2027 and full commissioning expected by the end of that year.
