Ukrainian manufacturer SkyFall says its P1-SUN interceptor, priced at around $1,000 for the domestic military, has already recorded more than 1,500 confirmed hits in roughly four months of deployment. The drone is designed to destroy fixed-wing targets, including reconnaissance and one-way attack drones, offering a lower-cost alternative to expensive missile-based air defenses. The push comes as Ukraine deepens defense ties with Saudi Arabia. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Friday that Kyiv and Riyadh had signed a defense cooperation agreement covering future contracts, investment, and collaboration on technology as part of Ukraine’s broader effort to turn wartime know-how into long-term strategic partnerships.
