Kyiv had earlier suggested that the US had sought Ukrainian expertise in countering the drones. Since March 1, 2026, Iran has launched over 2,000 drones across the Middle East, targeting US military facilities. Ukraine has built up extensive experience defending against such attacks after facing more than 19,000 drones between December 2025 and February 2026, according to the report. Ukrainian officials say interceptor drones are now in high demand as countries in the Middle East look for ways to counter similar threats.
