While electric cars made up 4.4% of vehicles across the EU, their share in Poland stood at just 0.3%. Most passenger cars in Poland continued to run on gasoline or diesel, with LPG vehicles accounting for more than 12% of the fleet—one of the highest shares in the bloc. By contrast, countries such as Norway, Iceland, and Denmark reported electric car shares above 5%.
