Sikorski said Poland’s ambassador to Denmark would visit Greenland to assess whether such a diplomatic presence is needed. He noted that Polish state-controlled mining firm KGHM previously held an exploration license on the Arctic island, though it has since been sold. Any decision, he added, would depend on feedback from Poles living in Greenland.
