Officers, working in coordination with U.S., British and Brazilian authorities, boarded the ship, arrested all 13 crew members and seized a firearm found on board. After the vessel ran out of fuel and drifted for nearly 12 hours, maritime rescue services intervened and towed it to Spain’s Canary Islands, where further investigations are now under way.
