The summit will focus on principles for a potential ceasefire in Russia’s war against Ukraine, as well as on how any violations of such an agreement would be addressed. French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer are expected to chair the meeting, which is intended to signal alignment between the United States, Europe and Kyiv on future security guarantees. Poland’s Prime Minister Donald Tusk is also expected to attend.
