The blast occurred Saturday evening at the Ülemiste shopping center in Tallinn, with a 60-year-old man detained in connection with the incident. The suspect, Artur Boiko, has a criminal history involving hacking and threats of violence. Estonia’s Internal Security Service said it is treating the case seriously but has found no evidence so far linking the explosion to terrorism or the involvement of a foreign state.
