Operations resumed roughly two hours later, but the incident added to growing unease over drone activity near key sites. Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans called the disruption “unacceptable” and said new measures were in place, though he declined to share details. The scare followed a similar encounter just a day earlier, when the Dutch military fired on drones above the Volkel Air Force Base. In both incidents, it is unclear where the drones came from.
