Hungary’s Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó earlier accused Croatia of profiteering from the war in Ukraine by raising transit fees and seeking to block Russian oil imports. Croatia’s Foreign Minister Gordan Grlić Radman countered that the pipeline and LNG terminal on the island of Krk have proven ability to supply Hungary, Slovakia and other Central European states, bolstering EU energy security.
