Speaking to Sky News, Zelenskyy contrasted Ukraine’s air defense record with Poland’s, citing Kyiv’s experience in repelling Russian strikes. <br><br> “Our air forces, they really work with air defense guys and mobile groups, so it's multi-system and also jets and also drone interceptors… all these worked against 810 [aerial assets] and in those days they destroyed 700, and it's a big number,” he said. <br><br> He added: “If you compare 810 and we destroyed more than 700, and they had, for example, 19, I think 19 drones, and they destroyed four… <br><br> “Of course, they can't save people if they have [a] massive attack.” <br><br> Zelensky said that Poland’s limited drone defense capabilities are understandable, given its lack of direct war experience. <br><br> “This is not a message to our Polish friends – they are not in the war, that's why it's understandable that they are not ready for such things.” <br><br> Zelenskyy added that Ukraine is ready to help Warsaw bolster its defenses, offering training on counter-drone tactics. <br><br> He also said Russia’s strikes on Polish territory were designed to sow insecurity among NATO allies and weaken Western support for Kyiv.
