Two people have died after their light aircraft crashed into a field in Poland’s southern Silesian province while attempting to land. Firefighters were called to the scene near the village of Lipowa where they discovered the charred remains of the victims in the plane's wreckage, news outlet RMF FM reported. Fire brigade spokesman Capt. Tomasz Kołodziej said: "At this time, we don't know the circumstances of the accident. After extinguishing the fire, firefighters discovered two bodies inside. We're waiting for the prosecutor." Six fire brigade appliances, police and prosecutors are now reported to be on site.
