SPARK was formally initiated by Poland’s Minister of Science and Higher Education, Marcin Kulasek, together with the President of the Łukasiewicz Research Network, Hubert Cichocki, and the Director of the Polish Institute of Aviation, Cezary Szczepański. The project is a joint effort by three institutes within the Łukasiewicz Research Network: Aviation, Non-Ferrous Metals, and Automation and Measurements.
