Prime Minister Donald Tusk joked U.S actor and new Polish citizen Jesse Eisenberg could be the next James Bond if he undertakes voluntary military training.
Hollywood star Eisenberg officially became a Polish citizen on March 5, two days before the Polish prime minister announced plans to introduce voluntary military training for all adult men in the country.
On Thursday, Eisenberg appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to share the news of his new citizenship. He cracked a joke, saying the new policy was announced soon after he received it.
However, he added that Eisenberg could star as the new James Bond after being trained in Poland.
“Come over to Poland. And we’ll give you such a training that the new James Bond role is yours!” he said.
Eisenberg, best known for playing Mark Zuckerberg in The Social Network, has Jewish ancestors who immigrated to the United States from Poland and Ukraine.
