A new Ukrainian-language TV channel was launched on Monday as part of the International Media Centre of public broadcaster Polish Television (TVP).

According to TVP, Slawa TV aims to provide comprehensive news and current affairs coverage for Ukrainians both in Ukraine and abroad.

Michał Broniatowski, editor-in-chief of TVP’s International Media Centre, said: “Our first goal is to offer professional news reporting about Ukraine and global events that relate to the country.

“We also want to talk about Ukraine’s EU and NATO perspectives and present the Polish government’s position on mutual relations with our neighbor.”

Mariia Gorska, editor-in-chief of Slawa TV, described the channel as “a Polish-Ukrainian informative project multiplying efforts of both countries in a joint fight against the [Russian] aggressor and dictatorships, as well as in bolstering democracy in Central Europe.”

TVP’s International Media Centre was established in December 2024 and includes Slawa TV, the English-language TVP World, the Russian-language Vot Tak and the Belarusian-language Belsat.

Slawa TV operates under the Belsat TV brand alongside Vot Tak and Belsat, with each channel allocated a six-hour programming bloc and additional time in a shared evening highlight segment.

Slawa TV broadcasts daily from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Polish time (12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Kyiv time) and from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. Polish time (10 p.m. to 11 p.m. Kyiv time).

The channel’s official website is available at https://slawa.tv/.
