In the aftermath of a heated meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk responded by saying: “Dear Ukrainian friends, you are not alone.”

Addressing Zelenskyy, Antonio Costa, the European Council’s president, said: “Your dignity honors the bravery of the Ukrainian people. Be strong, be brave, be fearless. You are never alone, dear President Zelensky. We will continue working with you for a just and lasting peace.”
President of the EU Commission Ursula von der Leyen also offered words of support for Zelenskyy and Ukraine.
