The list of Poland’s 100 richest people consists exclusively of billionaires for the first time.
Over the last two years, the number of Poles worth one billion złoty (€241.7 million) or more has increased by a third, with 107 individuals now possessing this level of wealth.
Forbes’s rich list for 2025 reveals that the combined wealth of the 100 most affluent Poles has reached 315 billion złoty (€76 billion), which is 11% more than a year earlier.
The increase is largely due to the dynamic growth of Polish businesses, which in many industries are developing faster than the country’s economy more generally, financial website Money.pl reported.
Businessman and rally driver Michał Sołowow remains Poland’s wealthiest man, with €6.76 billion in assets. His position has been strengthened by the diversification of his business interests and investments in nuclear energy, the website said.
Sołowow is the sole shareholder of chemical firm Synthos, ceramics company Cersanit and Barlinek, a producer of floorboards.

Tomasz Biernacki (€5.39 billion), owner and founder of Polish supermarket chain Dino, is in third, although his worth has declined slightly.
The biggest mover was Dariusz Miłek, whose fortune increased by 107% to €1.5 billion. He has found considerable success in the development of the high street chain HalfPrice, which has become a European rival to British-owned retailer TK Maxx.
There are 13 debutants in the top 100, including Anna Putyra, owner of Rekord Hale Namiotowe, a modern tent hall supplier, and Piotr Wojciechowski and Adam Bartosiewicz of WB Electronics, whose company supplies combat drones and communication systems for armored vehicles.
