An Iranian-made drone used against Ukraine by Russia has been transported to the U.S. with the help of Poland’s foreign minister and will be displayed at the conservative CPAC conference, attended by Donald Trump.

Radosław Sikorski said a similar unmanned attack aircraft had hit the Chernobyl nuclear power plant last week and that the world should be aware of the dangers of cooperating with Russia and Iran.

The weapon, thousands of which have been used by Russia to overwhelm Ukraine’s air defenses, will be displayed at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington, at which President Trump will speak on Saturday.

In addition to the U.S. president, his deputy, JD Vance, is attending the event along with Elon Musk and an array of European right-wing politicians including, the prime ministers of Italy and Slovakia and Poland’s former head of government, Mateusz Morawiecki.

The Shahed 136 drone, shot down over Ukraine, was flown to Joint Base Andrews in Maryland, the Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday. An RMF FM private radio station journalist later established that Sikorski had been instrumental in the initiative.

The aircraft was transported to the U.S. through cooperation between Ukrainian and Polish special forces and the U.S. non-profit United Against Nuclear Iran.
