Poland’s Hanna Mazur has won silver in the 1,000m race at the junior speed skating world championships in Collalbo, improving on her performance from the previous week.
Polish skaters have dominated the 1,000m this season, with Mazur and Wiktoria Dąbrowska consistently among the top competitors.
She also won two bronze medals, finishing third in both the 500m and 1,500m events.
Other Polish skaters also performed well. Dąbrowska placed fifth in the 500m, while Julia Grzywińska and Zofia Braun secured top-ten finishes in the 1,500m. In the overall 1000m World Cup standings, Mazur finished first, with Dąbrowska in third and Grzywińska in fourth.
The results in Collalbo confirmed Mazur as one of the top junior speed skaters this season. With multiple medals and a World Cup title, she has established herself as a key contender for future senior competitions.
