Poland’s FC Barcelona star striker Ewa Pajor scored a doublet in a Sunday Spanish Super Cup final against their arch-rivals Real Madrid, carrying her team to a thumping 5-0 victory.

Pajor found the back of the net both times in the first half, giving the Pride of Catalonia a comfortable 3-0 lead before the half-time break, and adding her name to the scoresheet opened by Caroline Graham Hansen in the 31st minute.

The Pole displayed killer goal-scoring instincts, positioning herself perfectly for an easy tap in in the 37th minute and a clinical header from a corner in extra time.

In the second half, the dominant Barça team, which is on an incredible sixteen-match winning streak in the Women’s Primera Division, extended their lead thanks to goals from Patricia Guijarro and Alexia Putellas and cruised to claim the title.

The ‘Blaugrana’ lifted the Super Cup trophy for the fourth time in a row on Sunday, asserting their absolute dominance in Spanish female football.

Real Madrid, the ‘Los Blancos’, are the second team in the league table and trail Barça by an overwhelming 11 points.

The Super Cup is Pajor’s first title win with the legendary Catalan team.
