Polish international Jakub Moder has signed up with Dutch Eredivisie club Feyenoord, leaving Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion.
The 25-year-old midfielder agreed to a deal that keeps him at the Rotterdam club until 2028.
“It all happened pretty fast,” Moder shared on Feyenoord’s official website. “I am very excited about this new step; I felt I was ready for it.”
Moder will have to wait until February to make his debut, though, as he is ineligible for Feyenoord’s current Champions League campaign.
The versatile midfielder began his career at Lech Poznań before joining Brighton in February 2021.
His progress was disrupted by a serious knee injury in April 2022, which sidelined him for over a year and caused him to miss Poland’s World Cup campaign.
Although he returned to action in late 2023, he found limited opportunities at Brighton following new signings.
A key player for Poland, Moder has earned 31 caps and scored two goals for the national team, remaining a trusted option for coaches Paulo Sousa and Michał Probierz despite his lack of consistent club minutes.

Świderski to Greece
Polish international forward Karol Świderski is reportedly in talks to leave Charlotte FC in Major League Soccer (MLS) for a return to the Greek Super League with Panathinaikos, according to sports website Gazzetta.gr.
Świderski has been a key figure in Poland’s national team, often playing alongside Robert Lewandowski in attack.
After just one season in the United States, the fleet-footed striker is now said to be seeking a return to European football to further his career and remain competitive at the international level.
The 26-year-old has previous experience in the Greek league, having spent four successful seasons with PAOK FC before joining Hellas Verona in 2023.
His time in Italy was short-lived, as he moved to MLS the following year.
Polish defender Mateusz Wieteska is reportedly set to transfer from Serie A side Cagliari to Greek Super League club PAOK FC, according to Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The 26-year-old center back has struggled for regular playing time in Italy, making just five appearances this season.
A move to PAOK presents an opportunity for Wieteska to secure more minutes on the pitch and regain form.
Wieteska previously enjoyed a solid stint in France with Clermont, where he spent two seasons before moving to Italy.
Before that, he established himself at Legia Warsaw, earning recognition for his performances in the Polish league.
With Poland’s national team facing challenges in central defense, Wieteska’s move to Greece could be a turning point, offering him a platform to impress and strengthen his claim for a spot in Michał Probierz’s starting XI.
