A second Polish bronze
In the mixed relay final on Sunday, the Polish team—consisting of Natalia Maliszewska, Michał Niewiński, Diane Sellier, and Kamila Stormowska—crossed the finish line in fourth place.
However, the third-placed Italian team was disqualified after one of its skaters was found responsible for causing a fall involving Michał Niewiński earlier in the race.
This decision elevated Poland to the bronze medal position, just behind France’s gold, and the Netherlands’ silver.
