[20:15 CET] Trump vows ‘no violence’ after casting vote
Donald Trump, the Republican candidate for U.S. president has said after casting his vote in Florida on Tuesday that there will be “no violence” if he loses to his Democratic rival, Kamala Harris.
Trump told reporters he was confident he had run a "great campaign," and that he would be "the first to acknowledge" if he loses a fair election.

Bomb threats reported at two polling stations in the southern state of Georgia came from Russia, Georgia’s Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger told a press conference.
Raffensperger said the threats were deemed not credible, and added that Russia does not “want us to have a smooth, fair and accurate election."

Americans Barry Wilmore and Sunita Williams, two of the astronauts aboard the International Space Station, have cast their votes remotely in the presidential elections, the space.com website reported.
Wilmore and Williams arrived on the ISS in June. Due to technical issues, their stay was extended from seven days to eight months, meaning that their return to Earth is planned for February 2025.

Competition is expected to be especially tight in the so-called swing states. These are the areas on which both Kamala Harris and Donald Trump have focused their attention most during the final days of their campaigns.
This year, seven states have been labeled “swing”, together accounting for 93 votes in the crucial Electoral College.
In the West, there are Nevada (6 electoral votes) and Arizona (11). In the southeast, Georgia (16) and North Carolina (16). In the north, Wisconsin (10), Michigan (15) and Pennsylvania (19).
