Polish President Andrzej Duda will not attend a key international summit in Germany on military aid for Ukraine, a presidential official has told TVP World after Joe Biden pulled out of the event.
The Polish decision comes after the U.S. president on Tuesday canceled his trip to Germany in a blow to plans for the highest-level meeting ever of the Ramstein group of Ukraine arms donors that aimed to underscore unwavering support for Kyiv.
The Polish presidential official told TVP World: “Without President Biden, the formula of the meeting has changed... without Biden, the meeting has lost its level of importance."
