Denmark’s Jonas Vingegaard won the 81st Tour de Pologne, maintaining his overall lead from the second stage to win the Poland’s oldest cycling race.

The final stage, which began in Wieliczka, favored sprinters. Despite several breakaway attempts, including one featuring Poland’s Marek Budziński, the peloton remained in control, reeling in the escapees before the final sprint.

The race concluded with a thrilling sprint finish in Krakow, where another Danish cyclist Olav Kooij claimed his second Tour de Pologne stage win of the year.

Kooij, initially positioned further back, powered through the last 500 meters to outpace competitors like Belgium’s Tim Merlier and Jordi Meeus.

Denmark’s Team Visma | Lease a Bike celebrated a double victory, with Kooij's stage win and Vingegaard's overall triumph. Meanwhile, Italy's Diego Ulissi secured second place in the general classification and took home the title of best sprinter. Poland's Michał Paluta and Norbert Banaszek also shined, winning the King of the Mountains and most active rider classifications respectively.
