A dog on a balcony has become an internet sensation after being filmed playing catch with passersby.
In a video posted on X by ‘We Rate Dogs,’ the black pooch called Buba is seen dropping a tennis ball from the balcony, which is then picked up by random walkers and thrown back to the eagerly waiting dog.
Posted on August 7, the footage shot in the city of Łódż has since gone viral, racking up millions of views.
One delighted viewer said: “Time to visit Poland and play fetch with her.”
Another posted: “This is adorable. I would be there all day playing fetch with her.”
Yet another commented: “This needs to be an Olympic sport. That doggo would get all the gold.”
The dog’s owner told state broadcaster TVP: “She threw it once by accident, someone threw it back, and it stayed that way. Sometimes it lasts for hours.”
She added that as she is often not at home, she leaves the balcony open for Buba to have fun with her favorite toy.
City spokesman Paweł Śpiechowicz said: “Once again, the rule is proven that if someone is looking for good fun in Łódź, all they have to do is come to Piotrkowska Street.”
