Polish player Jan Zieliński and his Taiwanese partner, Hsieh Su-wei, continued their remarkable run in the 2024 Grand Slam mixed doubles events by securing the Wimbledon title on Sunday.
In the final of the 2024 Wimbledon Championships, No. 7 seeds Hsieh and Zieliński triumphed 6-4, 6-2 over unseeded Giuliana Olmos and Santiago González on Centre Court on Sunday.
The match lasted 1 hour and 16 minutes, marking Hsieh and Zieliński's second Grand Slam title of the year.
“[Hsieh's] experience helped us to get back on Centre Court after the second round, get through some tough matches,” Zieliński added. “I couldn't be more proud of us and how we fought and how we cooperated together.”
“Thank you so much for playing together," the Pole said to Hsieh. “Yeah, it's a pretty good partnership we're having so far.”

The athletes first teamed up at the 2024 Australian Open, where they claimed the title against Desirae Krawczyk and Neal Skupski. With this latest win, 38-year-old Hsieh from Chinese Taipei continues to cement her legacy as a doubles legend.
Hsieh had never won a mixed doubles Grand Slam before this year, but she and 27-year-old Zieliński have found exceptional synergy this season.
Former WTA Doubles World No. 1 Hsieh has also won seven women’s doubles Grand Slam titles.
Four of those victories came at Wimbledon, with three different partners: Peng Shuai in 2013, Elise Mertens in 2021, and Barbora Strýcová in 2019 and 2023.
