Poland’s female volleyball team has beaten Thailand 3-0 at the Nations League match in Hong Kong.
Despite giving away a number of points from broken serves, coach Stefano Lavarini’s eagles dominated the court almost from the start of the match, ending the first set 25-15.
The second set saw the girls in White and Red sweep up six points in a row with a succession of flawless moves in both attack and defense.
Thailand fought back but was unable to hold back the Polish onslaught which saw them clinch the second set 25-23.
The third set saw Lavarini make changes to the girls’ line up which brought a fresh volley of attacks by Poland to finish 25-17.
Poland now faces China on Sunday.
